Creative direction for Sam Cooke’s catalogue

January the 22nd this year would have been Sam Cooke’s 90th birthday. In this year celebrating his legacy, Yes Please are providing the Creative Direction for a range of visual materials including a suite of lyric videos for Cooke’s catalogue.

Featuring Mid-Century inspired typography, colour palettes and illustrations, these visuals evoke the time that the songs were originally recorded. Each video is individually tailored to suit the vibe of the track whilst creating a unified approach to presenting his wonderful songs online.
