Creative Direction
Our Creative Direction encompasses print and digital, from a run of lyric and social videos to magazine adverts and billboard advertising. With Yes Please working across all of your content, the creative is managed by us meaning a visually unified campaign and convenience for you.
THE ROLLING STONES - LET IT BLEED
50th Anniversary Creative Direction
We were commissioned by ABKCO Music to design the marketing campaign for the 50th anniversary release of the Rolling Stone's classic 1969 album 'Let It Bleed'.
We were tasked with producing a lyric video for every track on the album, along with print and web assets. These included magazine and billboard adverts, and an animated email banner.
Using the theme of the ripped album cover throughout every asset, giving the whole campaign a unified, coherent feel.

THE ROLLING STONES
Creative Direction for The Rolling Stones back catalogue pre 1966
Yes Please are providing the Creative Direction for a suite of lyric videos for The Rolling Stones material pre 1966.
As the Rolling Stones tracks from this era take inspiration from Early R&B and the Blues, so does our creative direction. In particular the Blues and Rock ‘n’ Roll posters from the 40s and 50s; tactile and textural featuring bold typography and the qualities of paper, ink and printing.
The visuals are led by design and pace with colour, texture and the type all coming together to form the basis of the overall design. Cut to beat, the visuals are striking and immediate - raw and direct, like the music itself.
THE ROLLING STONES - BEGGARS BANQUET
50th Anniversary Creative Direction
To advertise the 50th anniversary reissue of The Rolling Stones 1968 LP ‘Beggars Banquet’, Yes Please were commissioned to create a series of posters, print ads, web banners and lyric videos.
Taking elements of the vinyl LP’s original gatefold sleeve art which depicts a graffiti covered bathroom wall, we designed a campaign which incorporated lyrics from The Rolling Stones track ‘Street Fighting Man’.
The lyric videos followed the same creative approach and were released at the same time as the print work.

THE ROLLING STONES - THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST
50th Anniversary Creative Direction
To promote the 50th anniversary reissue of ‘Their Satanic Majesties Request' by The Rolling Stones, Yes Please provided the Creative Direction for a lyric video for every track on the album along with social media adverting.
With this being the Rolling Stones most psychedelic album, we took the original sleeve art, and sourced additional imagery to create a series of trippy animated collages. The resulting eye-catching campaign attracted press coverage and online video premieres.
