Beggars Banquet – 50th Anniversary
Client: ABKCO Music
Role: Creative Direction, Production, Visual Content
We were commissioned by ABKCO Music to develop the creative direction and visual campaign for the 50th anniversary reissue of Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones. Drawing inspiration from the album’s original artwork of the iconic graffiti‑covered bathroom wall – we crafted a range of materials to support the release, including lyric videos, magazine print ads, posters and web banners.
Our approach embraced the rough, rebellious energy of the original sleeve. Handwritten type, paint splashes, and graffiti-style elements were applied across all assets, giving each track its own identity in the lyric videos while maintaining a cohesive campaign look. The paste-up poster and print ads translated these motifs into striking pieces that brought the album’s raw aesthetic to life in physical form.
The campaign combines the spirit of the original record with a fresh, contemporary presentation, ensuring that both longtime fans and new audiences experience Beggars Banquet in a way that feels bold and authentic
Read our blog post about this campaign for more information on our approach and working.
