To celebrate Louis Armstrong’s birthday, Yes Please Productions directed and produced the first official music video for Louis’ rendition of “La Vie En Rose”. In our animated video for Louis’ hopelesssly romantic rendition, we take a journey through the streets of Paris in search of love. Featuring mid-century style illustrations, the visual evokes the time that the track was originally recorded.

Louis lived in Paris ‘The City Of Love’between 1932-1934, and stayed at the Hotel Alba Opéra in the 9th arrondissement. A plaque on the façade of the building still honours him today.
