The Fun Of It – Public Service Broadcasting

We directed and produced the music video for “The Fun Of It,” a single from Public Service Broadcasting’s 2024 album The Last Flight. The album takes inspiration from Amelia Earhart’s final voyage, and this track pays tribute to her courage, curiosity, and love of flying.

The video celebrates Earhart’s bold, independent spirit – her drive to fly simply because she wanted to. Visually, we took cues from the work of Len Lye and Oscar Fischinger, early experimental filmmakers known for animating music through colour and motion. Using vibrant abstract visuals, we aimed to capture the energy, optimism, and sense of freedom at the heart of the track.
