The Kinks – ‘ Village Green Preservation Society’ 50th Anniversary Campaign

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of ‘The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society’ by The Kinks, Yes Please Productions led the creative direction for the campaign.

Alongside an unboxing video and social assets, we designed the visual for the previously unreleased track ‘Time Song’. Drawing on the song’s mood and themes, we crafted snapshots of the past using a mixed-media approach to evoke the charm and atmosphere of early 20th-century suburban life.

Our research guided the inclusion of subtle personal details, such as the Fortis Green road sign and a Muswell Hill map, reflecting the North London roots of Ray and Dave Davies.
