Yes Please are providing the Creative Direction for a suite of lyric videos for The Rolling Stones material pre 1966. As the Rolling Stones tracks from this era take inspiration from Early R&B and the Blues, so does our creative direction. In particular the Blues and Rock ‘n’ Roll posters from the 40s and 50s; tactile and textural featuring bold typography and the qualities of paper, ink and printing.
The visuals are led by design and pace with colour, texture and the type all coming together to form the basis of the overall design. Cut to beat, the visuals are striking and immediate – raw and direct, like the music itself.
