The Rolling Stones – Troubles A’ Comin’
Client: Universal Music / The Rolling Stones
Role: Creative Direction, Motion Design

To mark the 40th anniversary of Tattoo You, we created this lyric video for Troubles A’ Comin’ a rare track brought back into the spotlight.

This is one of The Rolling Stones’ most iconic albums, with an equally iconic sleeve. For the visual, we reimagined elements from the original album art, breathing new life into it through photographs and shifting moiré patterns that move with the rhythm of the track.

The goal was to honour the original design while introducing a fresh visual language – one that feels classic and contemporary all at once.
