Take a trip with George Harrison’s new video

George Harrison ‘Cosmic Empire (Day 2 Demo)’

We couldn’t let a month go by without creating another lyric video – and this one was special. We were delighted to be approached by Universal who asked us to create a video for the previously unreleased ‘Cosmic Empire’ by George Harrison. This was part of Universal’s impressive marketing push for their amazing 50th Anniversary box set reissue of ‘All Things Must Pass’. It was a huge honour to be part of this campaign, and we’ve been wanting to work with a Beatle for a long time, so that was one thing we could now tick off the bucket list. The track is a previously unreleased demo about inner and outer worlds – discovering the beauty of the universe whilst exploring new plains of consciousness. We represented this through collage, combining colourful flora and fauna, natural landscapes, magic mushrooms and mescaline cacti with astronomical imagery, trippy patterns and sacred geometry.
